MEET THE PRINCIPAL

As a trained teacher, I am passionate about the success and happiness of my students. I have worked at 2 different schools before co-running a previous school for 8 years. This experience gave me a unique perspective on being a principal, as I understand what is expected and realistic in a classroom setting.

In August 2024, it will mark 19 years since I established Stirling. I converted a house into a school with the help of my husband, who conveniently works in the construction industry. Together with a former teacher of mine, Tracey, who is now our ballet and substitute teacher, we developed the curriculum and vision for the school. Victor and Lynette joined us at the start, and since then, we have grown from 4 classes and 8 staff members to 7 classes and 19 staff members.

At Stirling, we have a teacher and assistant in each class, and this year, I hired an additional assistant to lend a 3rd set of hands wherever needed.

 

My staff is hardworking and dedicated, and they share my vision of keeping Stirling the best it can be. I have been fortunate to have wonderful, loyal staff members, some of whom have worked with me for many years.
